Playing a DVD

Basic operation of DVD

1. Press REL button on the head unit to open the front panel and you will see disc loading slot.

2. Insert a DVD disk into the slot; the unit will automatically switch on, if a DVD disk is loaded, press SOURCE

on the remote control to start the playback. You can eject a DVD by pressing EJECT button on the base. To

avoid a malfunction, make sure that no metal object comes into contact with the front panel when you open

the front panel.

3. After a DVD disc has been inserted, close the front panel.

4. Use the VOL+/ VOL- to adjust the sound level.

Skip backward/forward /F.F/F.REW the playback

To skip back or forward to another chapter, press /. Press and hold / to perform fast rewind or fast

forward. Touching /\ / \/ button on the head unit also performs the same operation.

Stop the playback

Press STOP button to stop the playback.

Slow motion playback

Press II► on the RC to slow forward or slow backward. There are 4 speeds each press decreases the speed until the

minimum speed is reached.
